DHS Annual Conference 2022: Design and Transience - thank you!

The 2022 DHS annual conference themed Design and Transience took place at the Izmir Institute of Technology and the DHS would like to whole-heartedly thank the convening team of Bahar Emgin, Ayça Tunç-Cox, Erdem Erten, Nilüfer Talu and F. Zeynep Ata for being such great hosts.

Together with their colleagues and students they made this event a roaring success. The hybrid conference - the first of its kind for the DHS - was managed exceptionally well and brought together design historians from all over the world in lively discussions and exchanges about their latest research.

Participants in Izmir were kindly hosted at the university campus, could explore the nearby sites as well as venture to the ancient city of Ephesus.

Thank you once again to the Design and Transience team and we hope to see all our new friends and colleagues next year in Porto!
