Announcing the Design History Society Annual Conference 2027
The Design History Society Annual Conference 2027 comes to Chelsea College of Arts, UAL, exploring Veiling/Unveiling: The Politics of the Unseen in Design.
From overlooked histories and invisible labour to infrastructures, environments, bodies and sensory experiences, this conference asks what happens when we look beyond what is immediately seen and how design can bring hidden perspectives into view.
Framed around three strands: Objects. Processes. People the conference seeks to bring together conversations and thinking around the seen, the unseen, and the politics of design. CFP to be announced soon. Watch this space.
