The following positions are available on the Executive Committee of the Design History Society:

Secretary, Design History Society

The Secretary’s key responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the Society’s business by arranging and minuting Executive Committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

Conference Liaison Officer, Design History Society

The Conference Liaison Officer serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Society to maintain a link between the Society and the convenors of the Society’s annual conference. The role was established to offer access to advice and support for convenors and to provide links and continuity between them. The role is a facet of the Society’s commitment to high quality conferences. It is a way of helping to balance the benefits of intellectual autonomy on the part of convenors with the need for consistent core standards year on year.
