Design History Society members include all those interested in design: students, designers, lecturers, historians, researchers, craftspeople, manufacturers, archivists, curators, librarians and collectors. New members are always welcomed and actively encouraged to contribute to events and publications.
The Design History Society offers a concessionary rate to full and part-time students, the unwaged and seniors, for which you will be asked to supply proof of status.
JDH peer reviewers receive a 20% discount on standard membership - please email the DHS Senior Administrator at designhistorysociety@gmail.com to retrieve this.
Institutional membership under all categories is administered by Oxford University Press.
PLEASE NOTE- the below rates for membership for 2024 are offered at a pro-rata rate based on 6 months of membership. From 1 August 2024 these rates will increase to an annual rate. If you choose to auto-renew you will be informed of the renewal rates one month prior to auto-renewal.
