In her blog report Denise Lai, talks us through the archiving process of Wawasan 2020 in collaboration with the Malaysian Design Archive and supported by the DHS. Launched in 1991 by the Malaysian state, Wawasan 2020 was an ambitious development and modernisation scheme for the nation, which also takes central stage in Denise's MA dissertation in history of design recently completed at the Royal College of Art.
